By public transport

If you are coming to Bozen/Bolzano by train, the bus station for services to Kaltern is located just a two-minute walk from the railway station on the opposite side of the road. Buses leave every half hour. Get off at the “Kaltern Bahnhof” bus stop then take the Citybus service to “Kaltern Marktplatz”.

By car

From the A22 autobahn, take the “Bozen Süd” exit for the Meran-Bozen expressway towards Meran – after the tunnel take the first exit for the “Weinstrasse - Eppan – Kaltern” and at the first junction turn right onto the road for Eppan: Kaltern is another 15 km along this road. N.B.: take the second exit off the roundabout in Kaltern and turn off right after approx. 400 metres. After another 100 metres there is a red traffic light: guests of the hotel may ignore this. Once past the traffic light you enter a pedestrian zone: after some 60 metres, at the first small square (Maria-v.-Buol-Platz), there is a fountain on the right and on the left is the Hotel Jagdhof ****S.
N.B. Guests of the hotel may bring their cars into the pedestrian zone.

Dogs – Your Dog

Dogs, lovingly known as "man's best friend," are an integral part of the family for many – and we feel the same! Your four-legged companion, whether small or medium-sized, is warmly welcomed here. To ensure all our guests feel comfortable, we kindly ask you to observe a few simple rules.

Kaltern is a very dog-friendly place. You can bring your dog to almost every restaurant, with the exception of the public beach areas. Dogs are also allowed on public transport.

At our accommodation, there are a few areas where dogs are not permitted. These include the lawn areas, the indoor pool, the spa area, and the breakfast room. However, your dog is more than welcome in the Torgglkeller, as well as the adjoining garden and the serviced inner courtyard.

The cost for your dog is between €15.00 and €40.00 per day (without food). Please bring a dog blanket or basket, as dogs are not allowed to sleep in the hotel beds.

If this rule is not followed, we will kindly remind you and may charge an additional fee of €20.00 per day for bed linen changes, cleaning, and disinfection.
